Anlässlich einer großen Einzelausstellung 2017/18 im »Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen« und »CAPC«, sowie im »Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux« 2019 hatte ich das Vergnügen, einen Katalog zum Gesamtwerk der Fluxus-Künstlerin Takako Saito zu gestalten. Nach der Sichtung von tausenden Bildern, Videos und Textfragmenten haben Takako Saito, Johannes Stahl und ich uns auf ein Konvolut geeinigt, welches ihr Leben künstlerisch dokumentiert und Geschichten daraus erzählt.

Die Leser:innen erhalten nicht nur einen tiefen Einblick in die Arbeiten von Takako, sondern Takako Saito selbst gibt Einblicke in ihre persönlichen Aufzeichnungen. Zusätzlich werden Wegbegleiter:innen interviewt, so dass ein umfassendes Gesamtbild ihres künstlerischen Lebens entsteht – selbstverständlich gibt es einen Anhang mit einer Biografie und einem Ausstellungsverzeichnis.
